A Little Table Talk

During informal opening conversations or more formal assessment-related discussions, I'm often asked questions along the lines of "What do you feel are your strengths?" or "How would you approach {x}?" or "What are your thoughts on {y}?"

So with that in mind, collated below are various approaches, strengths, convictions and attributes in relation to what I bring to the table as a program management leader and customer success champion.

Empathy
I’ve been the customer. I understand the challenges they face on a regular basis as well as the confidence they place in a trusted supplier relationship who always has their back.

Accountability
Developing a reputation of trust and integrity requires being consistently approachable and honest, following through on commitments, and a willingness to step up when called upon.

Collaboration
Much like my approach when jamming with fellow musicians,  I seek to interact with and inspire my colleagues in order to achieve great moments together.

EI
The aptitude to “read the room” (i.e. emotional intelligence) and adjust style to meet the needs of the audience

Strategy
It’s not a group of tactics; it’s a POV and plan of action with a targeted, measurable goal.

Acumen
An understanding of the strategic business objectives and how best to lead/collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive alignment

Mentorship
More than just building a team, it’s building into the team.

Leadership
The customer champion. The strategy shepherd. The creative crusader. The project pulse.
